Good Morning Couchies, got an unexpected gift from a coworker today which is really nice but now I have one day to get her something in return. Yikes! I really don't know her that well but I think I have an idea! Can't believe its already December 20th. Hugs to anyone who wants one! Kit.

I think my tenacity is somehow both my best and worst quality. I get things done, but I won't let them go until they are done. Having said that, I should probably abandon this crochet project, because it's frustrating. When R and I meet in January, we will have to have a conversation about my definition of 'rest'.

I havent worked IRL in fifteen years, but i still show up in my dreams. And to school, too. Last night i was taking a college class in "4 gay novels of the french revolution." I didnt even know that was a classification i also drove from canada into michigan. I was at some weird party, and my underpants kept falling off my butt. Sleeping is more work than being awake.

I am now trying to name the four gay novels of the French Revolution.
Are they novels about gays set during the French Revolution or written during it? Or are they novels by gay authors who lived during the Revolution or wrote about the Revolution? Need some help here. Last edited by atisketatasket; Dec 20, 2018 at 04:51 PM.. |

Its not "the 4", its just "4". So i think the field is completely open!
ETA - One is obviously Les Mis. And then of course its spin-off, The Fugitive. Why else would one man chase another so obsessively? Oops, do i have the time right for les mis? |

PSA - cauliflower tots are disgusting. A disservice to both cauliflower and tots.

Thanks, i was wondering about those. Plain roasted cauliflower (or with whatever seasoning or dip) are fine and fast enough, i dont know why one would go to the trouble to tottify them. Note to lemoncake: i said tottify, not toffifee - dont get all excited.

I went to bed last night really aggravated and woke up this morning the same way. My dog has another nasty bladder infection. She has only been off antibiotics for 13 days and it’s alrewdy back again. The dog is old, diabetic, has an enlarged liver, possible Cushinngs and when she does not have a bladder infection she still can’t hold her bladder. I talked to H 3 weeks ago about it possibly being time to look at our other options other than delaying the inevitable. He couldn’t even look at me when I was trying to talk with him about it. He just made me feel and look horrible for bringing it up. So here we are 3 weeks later another bladder infection. On Saturday when we go to the vet they want to do an x Ray to see if she has crystals. That’s fine, but I am not letting them go on a fishing expedition with her. It’s all become too much.
I told my husband to man up and stop being selfish and that the dog is very sick . All he did was respond with “I can’t believe you think that of me” oh, heck no. We are not playing the victim game. I reminded that he told me last night that I had to find a solution. So my solution is to take the dog the vet Saturday-with or without him. And that I’ll use my paycheck and bills will be pushed aside. I told him he can choose to come or not-but if he chooses not to come then he’s also choosing to not be a part of any decisions made on Saturday regarding the dog. |

I haven't watched the series, but Arya was my favorite character in the books.

I watched a video last night on making stuffed cauliflower... it was stuffing like for a turkey packed into a whole cauliflower and then I think it was baked. Looked kind of interesting.
