I didn’t sleep a wink last night and ate way too much food at the bar so my stomach was killing me all night. Now I am up, but tired and I don’t want to sleep all day so it does not mess with my sleep tonight because I have work tomorrow. I really don’t mind the holiday season all that much so it’s a shame it all went to crap this year.
Now it’s time for coffee which probably will further upset my stomach but whatever.

Thanks lemoncake. The 70's one Couch 185: The Labyrinth

I just started work at least it's only 4 hours today as opposed to the usual 10 since early October. I think maybe 60 hr work weeks at my age are a bit too much. Nothing I can do but keep on soldiering through it. I know there are so many worse problems to have I need to suck it up and shut up. So Merry whatever anyone celebrates I do not want to offend anyone. I call it Christmas day today.

I miss my son. He said he'd come by later though so that's good.

And now I need to get some work done.

Props still on the 10th and pharma on the 22nd.

Do you have any plans for the day Whisper?
Spent the morning with family, heading out to work in a few minutes.

Bah humbug. My sister is bugging with her attitude. Ever since she gave birth to her baby 8 months ago..now you have to practically make an “appointment” to go over there. All I wanted to do was go drop off the stuff I got for the baby, but she’s like “oh no. Come at 11:30” 11:30 doesn’t work for me so I suggested 11:00 or 12-a simple 1/2 hour in either direction will be more helpful. She’s not having any of it. She acts like she’s the first person in the world to ever give birth to a child. I’m really not in the mood today. I’m just not. It’s a bad day and I just want these gifts out of my house so I decided I just won’t go and instead just drop them off at my moms and she can take them. The end. Why do I feel like the forces are all playing against me right now? I usually don’t play on a victim mentality but the past few days I feel like everything is working against me and I’m just trying to hold my head above water right now.

Disclaimer: By saying I don’t play on a victim mentality does not mean I’m faulting people who were victims and traumatized

I’m sorry. Maybe there are a couple of you actually enjoying the holiday so I’ll take my Negativity and just dismiss myself today.

I think holidays breed negativity, people trying to meld their schedules, it's hard to accommodate every person. Hugs, Jersey.

Hey, does anyone want to help me put together a giant (daybed sized) puzzle? A friend gave it to me sans instructions. I'm attempting to locate instructions online and I am not ready to give up yet, but it's close.
Thanks for this!

He just said he and his gf have other plans. It's ok. H and I will have a quiet day together instead. Watch movies on Netflix or something.

My corkscrew broke when I tried to open my wine. Grrr. Oh well.

I'll go take my negativity elsewhere sorry couch.

Is it a jigsaw puzzle? I feel like I’ve been doing nothing else the past few days.

For a change of pace this morning I am figuring out the instructions to this evil toy called an LOL doll. It involves drowning the doll at one point.

Spending my first Christmas without Mom. We were supposed to be cruising through the Panama Canal today. At least I had one last present to open from her; it was an enhancer. Watching a South Park marathon today. I bought a tiny ham and some mashed potatoes for Christmas dinner.

It's a metal daybed with a trundle. I found some pdf instructions, yay!!!

Art, I'd say it's a pretty good reason to be upset. Heck, I'm sorta pissed about it myself!
