Hey the 1934 movie The Scarlet Pimpernel is on. Speaking of gay novels of the french revolution. Leslie Howard and Merle Oberon.

My H is pouting tonight and sleeping on the floor in the living room. I got so stressed out at the store earlier tonight with my kids and H that I left without buying anything. I am ready to take off with the baby and go back to the store but I doubt H will even wake up to make sure the other ones go to bed.

Bizarro dream about the woman. Her son was one of my students and we were traveling in different vehicles to get to a student event out of town. He was in a vehicle with his stepfather/woman's husband who was also my assistant. There was a giant road block and all the cars had to pull over into a field where we got out and just hung out like a giant picnic. The son got killed somehow and the stepfather came to tell me about it. I assumed the stepfather would tell the woman about the son so I did not call her, but eventually I saw her when dropping some equipment back off at their house. In the meantime, I had been cleaning more of my person's stuff up and was giving it away to help a homeless family. The woman did not seem all that upset by the events when I spoke to her.
Then the dog woke me up.

Must have been therapist dream night. I dreamed Info jumped on top of me and smothered me with her, ah, cleavage. It was very unpleasant.

No mentioning Melanie Klein, please.

ETA: and as soon as I posted that I got an email from Info.

Ack. That sounds like nightmare territory. Mine was merely odd, not horrifying.

Yikes!

Perhaps it was T dream night, as ex-MC showed up in mine last night, though only on the phone? I had asked him to call me because I was upset about something (not involving him), but then what I was telling him on the phone was really lame, and I couldn't recall what I really wanted to share--was trying to look on my phone for evidence. The whole time on the phone, I was walking through the mall, which had installed this giant waterfall (???), so part of the time we couldn't hear each other as I was going on the steps to go over that. Then when I got outside, my phone warned me it was losing power and was like 5-4-3-2-1 on screen, then it was dead. Gee, I wonder what that dream could have possibly been about?

Current T rarely shows up in my dreams, though when he does, he's my teacher/professor or, once, my boss, never as my T. (While ex-MC is always a/my T.) I'm sure that means something.

We are having wind advisories here - the last time we had a lot of wind,I was walking the dogs in the big tree filled park that is a block or so away and a giant limb fell right in front of us. If the dog hadn't stopped to pee, we would have been crushed.
I am now very tweaky about going into the park when it is extremely windy.

This phrase also appears on the state flag of Virginia.

He was trying to say that Lincoln wanted to be a king like Caesar (Brutus supposedly said it after stabbing Caesar), only in Lincoln’s case suppress states’ rights in favor of the federal government. (Should have remembered what happened to Brutus and Cassius.)

So Rome to him as a Confederate sympathizer meant the Republic and all those old Roman ideals like being a nation of farmers—unlike the North.

I’d guess the motto of Virginia dates from the Revolution and casts George III as the tyrant.

I'm eating apple crumble for breakfast. It feels like a bad thing to do, but it tastes amazing so I don't care.

@@ you might like the show "you" on Netflix. I watched two episodes with my sister.

But I just can't understand why she doesn't ever close her curtains when she lives on the first floor.

Today, I have mostly been making friends with Alexa, in between doses of cold medication. I'm beginning to cough like nobody's business now, so hopefully that means it's moving through?

I love how smartz you are. Thanks for the explanation. I only heard the saying in the movie national treasure but I didn't understand it.

What's your opinion on alexia, is she helpful?

How long have you had your cough for?
