So yesterday evening I received T's regular holiday/break contact email with a, photo of her Xmas, tree she made using an old step ladder and wishing me a merry Xmas in my new home. I replied same to you as we've both moved home this year.
Is a small thing she does. But Carries a lot of feeling.

I like that this is a ritual for you. If I recall correctly, she used to send this to you via snail mail. Does it feel any different getting it by email? And while I don't celebrate Xmas, I think it's pretty cool that she decorated a stepladder.

Yes. She use to send postcards. Turn she forgot one yr so sent an email with photo to make up for it.
The email feels more intimate. She seems photos, I'd what she's gone to look at or what she's made.

T use to send me a simple email every Christmas morning that just said Merry Christmas. Hope you have a wonderful day. 😭
