I posted a question on our class message board because the textbook refers to math tutorials in the MasteringAstronomy thing, and I couldn't find them, the Prof answered already and posted a link to them that she didn't realize wasn't there. So now I'm working through the tutorial about Scientific Notation. 2 words that have never been spoken by me before yesterday, not even on my radar haha.

This was in the summer. My pictures from then definitely look beautiful, but it's extremely, incredibly, indescribably humid here during the summer. And actually the spring and fall are warm and humid, too (since I'm on the coast), though summer is the worst because that's when it's most humid and the temps are in the 90s. I can deal with high temps in dry climates, but the humidity kills me - you sweat and sweat, and it doesn't evaporate. So you're just hot and dripping. At least there's sometimes a breeze coming off the ocean. Further inland the air is so thick in the summer, you might as well be swimming. But I guess that's the south for ya.

I just threw away 3 non-working space heaters. Trying to clear out some clutter and getting rid of the things I thought I would fix but really never will.

I'm just not sure if I'm making the right choice and doubting myself even though it makes sense. It sounds awful, and why am I even thinking like this I don't know- but I don't have a safety net with this exam. If I change my date. If we fail we have to wait two weeks to retake and it won't be possible with this date as its the second last one and the next period will be in may- when I will have 5 other exams.

Dancing anything restraint is always appreciated.

I like knowing how stuff works and taking it apart and fixing it makes me quite happy. But space heaters can be quite dangerous even if they work correctly. Fixing a space heater incorrectly could lead to fire - which I really don't want. Not fire won out this time.

Altho, i would have said, this latest oreo is the 4th horseman. But exacticity doesnt really matter in comedy, as long as you get the idea across. I learned that from Phyllis Diller.

Eta - water main break today. I cant believe the only water i had was in my stupid teakettle. All my water bottles are empty. Am i learning nothing from Everest??!

I think you mentioned that you aren't taking advantage of any of the 0 points foods. I think this is probably hurting you more than helping you. WW isn't meant to be done the way it sounds like you're doing it - which is letting yourself go hungry when you've used your points.

Possible trigger:

When I was really wrapped up in my ED and restricting heavily, I think my body built up a hunger that, when eventually unleashed, was very hard to control. I was active in pro-ED communities at the time, and this was a pattern for many people. I know you're not restricting like I was, but I think the same principle applies. At some point, the hunger will reach a tipping point and you will overeat.

Yes, 0 point foods still have calories. However, I don't think allowing yourself to partake in some 0 point foods will prevent you from losing weight. I do understand your concern. I looked at the list of 0 point foods and I do see how someone could greatly increase their caloric intake by allowing themselves to eat as much as they wanted of the 0 point foods. However, I think not being hungry is an integral part of WW. I also don't subscribe to the notion that no food should be eaten after dinner. I'm not sure if you've just run out of points, or if that's intentional. Maybe you could make your own rules within the 0 point system. Iirc, non-starchy veggies used to be the only 0 point foods. You could stick to that and see how it goes. Another idea for the 0 point foods is to choose ones with a low glycemic index. That includes the non-starchy vegetables, but could also include other foods. I have a feeling this is how they came up with their 0 point list - but you could narrow the list down further by choosing your own max glycemic index for a food to be 0 points. For example, you could draw the line at 20 - this would exclude most types of beans, except for soy beans. Just an idea. Also, you could choose vegetables with the most protein and fiber to help keep you full - like spinach and broccoli.

Well her vision was 20/100 at school but the eye doctor said they're wrong. It's actually 20/200. That doesn't make me feel any better! She's going to have to wear glasses all the time even in gym. I feel guilty because I didn't know she couldn't see! She got some cute glasses that will be back in 10 business days and it's time for me to let go of the guilt.

Cats know an opportunity when they see one! Your lap is more comfy than a bed, and comes with unlimited attention and scratching.
