I have felt that way too, that I’m losing my mind.

My counselor has this analogy that he tells me when I feel like that.

He tells me about a glass jar filled with water and dirt settled in the bottom of the water. Imagine shaking the jar and the dirt gets all mixed into the water. It’s a mess! When the dirt has time to settle back to the bottom of the jar the water clears.

It really doesn’t help me feel any better when I’m in that place, but once things settle, in my mind, I can see what he means.

I thought of that when I read your post.
