Has anyone watched Dr. Todd Grande's videos? What do you think of them? I think he is informative.

Thanks for your thoughts.
Thanks for this!

I wasn’t familiar with him until I looked him up on YouTube after reading your thread. I watched this video
and will probably watch others.

So far so good. I like that he science based and not some overly charismatic guru-type. His reasoning seems solid. If I personally had him as a therapist I might experience him as a little cold but intelligent. What do you think of him, OP?

@growlycat I like the fact that his videos are based on the scientific literature. I think he may be a compassionate therapist, but he seems to be very serious. I also like the fact that his videos are very detailed.
Thanks for this!

I liked his adherence to evidence-based treatment too. I can respect that. He seems like in many ways he would make a good therapist. I just know for myself I need someone who exudes more warmth. I’m curious to see more of his videos though. I do think he makes good points all around. I just watched ten signs of a bad therapist and agree with most but not all of his list. Two are a gray area for me personally but it was well thought out.

Any favorite videos of his that you would reccomend?

I've watched a bunch of his videos. I like them and they are well-informed, though I think he could get to the point a bit quicker sometimes and not explain the same concepts over and over.
Thanks for this!

This is an interesting topic that is often talked about from the client's side.

It has to do with intervening when a supervisee is attracted to a client. I can't post the youtube link because I don't have 10 posts yet. But Dr. Grande is doing a role-play with his graduate students on this topic.
Thanks for this!

Lol we had to watch several of his videos in one of my classes last semester. I thought he was alright, not the style therapist I’d like to see, but effective for others.
