I’m having a hard time with everything and I can’t go back until April 3rd and I’m hurting and stressed.

I’m sorry, it stinks. My T is out of town this week and it is so hard missing sessions.

Between vacation and work I won’t see my T for 2 weeks. I usually see her twice a week so this will be rough.

I developed a bad cough last night when I was going to sleep so I had to ask a lady who lives down the road from me if she would take me to the ER. So I was at the ER last night and got medicine in time before it turned into pneumonia. Then he said I had a bulged disc in my neck from an injury from a month ago and suggested physical therapy but he didn’t give me a referral so I don’t know if I can get into PT without a referral.

I’m so overwhelmed with everything. I will write more later. My mind is kind of overwhelmed after today. To be continued...

I think today I’m sad that a friend of mine keeps lying to me and blowing me off. We have been friends for years.

And then the guy who has been taking me to my therapy appointments for the last few weeks is starting to act weird and has been creeping me out. The week before last he yelled at me after I paid him.

And I have a rental car reserved for my next therapy appointment on April 3rd, but after that, I may have to miss the rest of April so I can put the money that I am paying for rides into getting my vehicle taxes paid, insurance paid, and get the tags transferred out of my deceased mom’s name and into my name. And then the lawyer who is the PR of the estate told me that after I get those things taken care of, we can then see how much it costs to get it repaired.

And my brother who has had depression for a few years has now developed an anxiety disorder and now I have to find him a pdoc.

My friend just called me. She talked to me briefly but the puppies were acting up so she said that she’d call back.

You’ll need a referral. You can get it from your regular doctor.

Your psychologist deserves their own life to lead and we must keep this in mind. However, with that said they still have some responsibilities they owe their clients. This includes providing an emergency plan of action while they are away. Some people are lucky enough that their therapist will make themselves available by other means; but, the usual norm is to ensure that there is another means of help in any emergency. Again, if you are fortunate this means they will have another therapist on call. However, it seems many are simply referring their clients to the hospital emergency room. I would check with your therapist and their clinic office, if they have one, to confirm just what plan they have and stick to.
