When I was little, maybe 6- or 7-ish, we went to this church where the only bathroom was an outhouse type deal. (It was in rural Ohio, so go ahead and cue whatever the Amish version of Dueling Banjos is.) I was so scared to go to the bathroom there because I was afraid a snake was going to climb up and bite me. I'm still quite leery of any pit-type toilet. I like my modern plumbing.

To be fair, the whole thing was just creepy. The outbuilding this was in was dark and there were multiple "holes", so no privacy. I didn't care for it at all.

What? That's...I don't even know what to say about that. Sorry about the mocking--it seems even worse that she was aware she was doing it, but did it anyway.

Thank you Una.

Ive been your offical mini me for a while now! We also had this moment with instant coffee.

I might just have to find a new coffee shop to study at on the weekends though. The one I like is a chain store and they do have 3 in our area, but it's the biggest one and I have "my corner" .

How long have you been seeing info for? It doesn't sound like she's attuned to you at all.

(Yawn) morning couchies! I laid awake thinking about stuff half the night last night, after being awakened by a humongous insight at like 1 am. I guess not technically half the night since I get up at 4 am but whatever haha. I'm sleepy but with what I realized I no longer feel the desire to call L, so I can handle sleepy. Wish I could explain it here but I don't have the right words for it yet.

Hugs and headnods all around as appropriate!

You have 3 different toothbrushes that you use every day? My set up would tip you over the edge.

Here I go again. It is the morning of a therapy session. I was given homework to do and it didn't accomplish much. In fact it was a failure. I feel like a failure. I don't feel 'prepared' for this session. Does anyone else get this? The need to be prepared for a session?

you don't HAVE to do therapy homework. It's ok if you don't. They wont hate you, things wont suddenly turn bad in therapy.

I don't think anyone is ever fully prepared for a session, we do the best we can at the time, good luck

Dreams about my person again - which make me both happy and sad when I wake up to it having been a dream. The dreams usually acknowledge she died (or sometimes fake died for some convoluted purpose) but is now back. This one was weirder than usual in that she was halfway between being back and being a ghost. And involved me trying to figure out what to do to get her driver's license and passport figured out(it seems she was not the sort of ghost who did not need those items) because of course she was dead but she wanted to visit a library in Leeds (her period was post-modern Brit). In this one I also kept checking to make sure I wasn't imagining that she was back - and was so happy when she really was still there when I got back home etc.
What amuses me about these dreams is how much of a lawyer I become in them - trying to figure out how to negotiate the rules

I have dreams where my previous dogs fake died - mostly of the one who was euthanized. It's like somehow, the euthanization didn't work and not only that, but he isn't sick, either. Or sometimes, it's like they are ghosts in the dream. Not in the sense that they are spectral, but that I know they are only visiting for a little while.

I know it is a common phenomena to dream about loved ones - including pets -coming back. I just find it jarring upon waking.

I sometimes dream that one of my late guinea pigs is still alive (but barely), and I've forgotten about him, and I sort of panic and feed him, give him water.
