I feel like I've hit the therapist jackpot with my T that I've been seeing since last summer. The one who I was originally seeing along with an EmDR Tand now seeing him 4 times a week. But this whole week I've been feeling so thankful for all he's trying to do for me.

Possible trigger:

I was very vague with my therapist on Thursday and Friday because I wanted to not ruin Easter for my family and kids. I did end up calling him on Easter evening and left him a message. He called me back on Monday when I didn't show up to my session and we talked. He offered to do phone sessions every day this week with me which has been so helpful while I've been here. He also asked me to please call him this weekend no matter what. I still feel so guilty and ashamed for needing his help, but I'm glad he's been helping when previous therapists would have not offered or refused.

There is no need to feel guilty or ashamed of taking up the help T offered. He cares about you and wants to be there for you.

I am happy you finally found a good T. He is indeed a keeper.

Take care.
Thanks for this!

A T jackpot is an awesome gift. It's tempting to feel guilty and shameful when we need help...but that is precisely what they are there for.
