Welcome to the couch, old and new! A place to hang out - sometimes you get immediate feedback, sometimes you don't.

Shouting, "Cool Whip" tends to bring others out from between the cushions if you're feeling lonely.

This is a chatty thread. All are welcome. We're kind of psychologically oriented, sometimes. We try to be supportive. At times we discuss what that means.

It’s a place to plop down on the couch when you come home from work or wherever, or wake up in the middle of the night, or check in at lunch, rant a bit or not, and be among friends.

We advise you not to drink or drug and text your therapist ("T") - we speak from experience.

Sometimes the thread moves fast and you might get overlooked; sometimes it moves slowly and all you hear are crickets. Sometimes you get hugged or thanked pages later. So if it's a bigger question, you might want to start a new thread.

Grab a cushion, a spot on the floor, or an armchair in the corner and make yourselves comfy!

IC 195 is a galaxy paired with IC 196
And 195 Eurakaleia is a main belt asteroid just to tie in with the many amateur and budding astronomers on the couch

Also I just like the word galaxy its has a Greek origin meaning milky

How much are you currently paying for it? Sacrificing for me would mean selling the car and taking public transport or picking a much cheaper car.

Grappling makes me think of rock climbing even if it may not have anything to do with it.The childhood stuff is the hardest for me too, and running away has always been my set default. I personally think there's nothing wrong with arguing with a T, it's just where you are right now and for me anyway it says your comfortable enough to have disagreements and can show negative emotions .

There's tickets for a Romeo and Juliet ballet show the day after my exam on the 4th which I've booked.

Two and a half more hours of this shift. Tonight has actually been pretty darn chill—I squeezed in an entire documentary, actually, between little crises and admissions.

The last time one of the online magazines I write for sent a call out, I wrote a pitch, and then didn't send it.

They've just sent a new call out, and I think the pitch would still work...Can I motivate myself to send it? Can I hell.

You'll get brownie points from us if you do it. Or maybe give yourself the space for now send it in an hour or two.

"Swim Team" -- it's a PBS (public television) documentary about a swim team made up of people on the autism spectrum. I really liked it--maybe not the most hard-hitting doc I've ever seen but it profiled some pretty cool people

Do you have emails? If you replied to his emails some of them would still be in your sent box.

No your not impatient, this would really bug me too. I once emailed a Doctor but never got a reply back. Can you email a few others? Would you consider online therapy?

There are two places I could send the pitch I have written. One is more exacting, and therefore draining, than the other.

I would like to write for the exacting one again, but I am not sure I am in the right headspace to do so at the moment.

I feel like the current theme for the exacting journal would be an equally good fit, given that I wrote the pitch for the previous theme and did not send it.

Coming up on the toughest month of the year for me, besides december. Probably not the smartest time to have taken time off therapy, oh well.

I am stressed to the max and already dreading a few days this month but I'll just try to numb it all and stay busy. At least I'm dog sitting until Monday still. Might have a small game night next weekend too.
