Does anyone know of any websites where therapists share their concerns/problems/issues with work? Anyone has access to this forum but are the once for therapist off limits to general public?
Would love to see the other side of whats going on for them.
Like for example they would be like: 'i have a patient who emails all the time, how do i explain that its too much without breaking their trust' qetc '
My therapst told me last time that it can be a very isolated and lonely profession.

There is a subreddit for psychotherapists: Psychotherapy: A Place For Therapists

Only therapists are supposed to post there. I find it illuminating in some ways. It’s not all about clients; there’s a lot of career stuff too.
Thanks for this!

there are a couple of subs on Reddit that the therapists frequent:

Psychotherapy: A Place For Therapists

and

Therapists

ETA:
oops...just realised that atisketatasket's link is one of the same ones...

i agree. i've lurked on that sub for quite a while now and it really has been quite eye opening and has helped to put a lot stuff into perspective for me about Ts and therapy (both good and bad).

most if not all treatment provider only websites are password coded where the treatment provider must put in their credential codes and verify that they are a state licensed treatment provider.

those that are not requiring credentials and such are not limited to just treatment providers. they may have begun like that but have somewhere along the way decided not to have it closed to the public and non treatment providers.

I know some on those sites mentioned in this thread that are not treatment providers who are posting or have posted on those sites. And those sites mentioned the members know that non treatment providers do visit the site so to be extra careful of what they post.

what goes on in actual treatment provider locked/ password protected forums... pretty much the same thing that people in therapy here on psych central post about....

discussions about various treatments and how to do them
discussions about problems with clients, and co workers (not mentioning clients names of course)
discussing their credentials , schooling and jobs, just like many here talk about school and work.
Discussions about special events.

my suggestion is contact your treatment provider, they can tell you whether they have their own therapists or are in any support forums for their job and problems and if they wish to can tell you what goes on in them.
