I saw my Pdoc today. I told him about how my month has gone (Some of you know that I was in the hospital after a fall, and then in physical rehab/PT for a week, and that I now walk with a walker.). He seemed to think that I am doing pretty well, despite what I've been through.
He agreed that I can do CBT on my own, and that I likely could work with my T on some issues that may come up during it, that are more person-centered and/or psychodynamic than CBT (since she doesn't do CBT).
He told me that when my neurologist told me I have "Psychogenic Tremor," it was because that doctor doesn't know what's wrong with me, and so just chalked up to stress. He told me that this kind of tremor diagnosis is sort of a "dumping ground" when doctors don't know the diagnosis.
And, I don't have to see him for another month.

It's good your Pdoc enlightened you a little about your dx from the neurologist. I wish it had been better news though. Hang in there friend of mine. HUGS Kit

You went to a neurologist if I rexall correctly, but did you get neuropsych testing done before? That kind of test has more diagnostic precision.

Neurologists are the worst. Psych meds can cause neurological symptoms. Do you take an antipsychotic or lithium? Those and others can cause neurological side effects.

My medical problems are complicated. I don't feel like explaining it all right now. But thanks, Octoberful, for your comments. Kit, I will PM you soon.
