Do/Did you feel/believe you could tell the therapist you hired anything? Not did you do it -but did you feel like you could do it.

I said yes, about therapeutic things. (Whatever those are, I assume that's up to my judgment about what therapeutic means.)

I imagine I COULD tell her about just about anything, big or small, but it wouldn't be a good use of my time in therapy and also no one really needs to know what a magpie nest it is in my head, so I choose not to.

When I was little, there was a hang gliding field near my grandparents’ place (in the country), and we used to see gliders passing over their land. I always wanted to try it. But not with a therapist.

So, no.
Thanks for this!

Yes, I know I could tell him anything. I stick with therapeutic stuff in session though, but I always challenge myself to say what I need to say, even when it's scary or difficult.

Yes, I do feel I could. I have held back because if my fears and self judgement, however, I have either told them much worse or eventually told them what I was hiding, they have always been amazing.

Yes anything I wanted. I never had problems talking about any topic and issue when I decided to do so, wasn't concerned about their judgment or anything. I just chose not to get into some.

I said Maybe. I had one therapist that I could but she use to be a crisis counselor so she wasn't easily scared. All the other T's I've seen are too squishy. If I was honest with them I would be hospitalized or IOP/PHP way to often. So I stick with yes or no questions about my thoughts.

Yes, I did feel/believe that I could.

Of course, knowing that I could didn't mean I always felt like I should and stuff. So sometimes I didn't. But most of the time I did.

Yes, I never felt I had to hold back. All of my therapists were very easy to be open with.

Yes, T wants me to be able to share anything/everything with him including my positive experiences and memories. He works very hard to be trustworthy enough to allow for that kind of openness. Currently he does allow me to talk about my trauma as much as I need to but he isn’t encouraging it. He wants me to be able to share on a different level when I trust more... but he doesn’t discourage my bringing it up if I need to he just listens and asks what I need.

I put "maybe," because while she's told me I can talk to her about any and everything, there are things I am pretty sure I never will. I guess I believe her, though.

Yes, absolutely. I feel weird that I'm so sure that's the case, but I'm sure of it.
