Has anyone ever shared a link from PC with your T? Just wondering about the pros and cons. I’m thinking I likely won’t, but sometimes the spontaneity and genuineness of a post is hard to reproduce or explain. Just curious.

Yeah, a few times. He knows this account and previous accounts too. I like him to read people's replies sometimes because they're validating. Also, I like him to read the ISTs sometimes too.

Yes. When I made a mean face at the therapist and made a post about it, I texted the link to her. She later referred to it as a screenshot, though, which confused me.
ETA: There weren't any cons that I remember. One time I also texted her a link to a post I had made to a therapy subreddit after a different episode where I had done something bad (I can't remember what it was at the moment). For some reason, I then deleted the post before I went to the session. Iirc, I knew she had read it but I had done another 180° and was feeling rebellious again. Idk. Something like that. I suspect that maybe she referred to the PC post as a "screenshot" because she took a screenshot of it in case I did the same thing again (she seemed pissed when she tried to pull it up in session to confront me on the contents line by line as she likes to do, and it was deleted). __________________ Life is hard. No. I never had a reason to do so. I told the woman directly whatever I said here about her.

I have shared thread's - my post and some replies (changing the names to just first initial). I've printed them off and had her read them. Only once have I shown her the site. I've never given her a link to the site.

My T knows I am on here and the name of the site. I give him more than enough to read in emails so I don’t think he would ever feel the need to get on here. He knows which forum I hang in and my “voice” IRL isn’t any different than on here so I am sure he could figure out who I was. I would also give him my screen name if he wanted it. Honestly, the only thing I can see coming out of it is 1. Every thread here is pretty much one less email and 2. I think he would be a little humbly embarrassed by how highly I usually speak of him.
On the flip side, I wish T and I had more time in session to talk about some of the things I discover on here. __________________ There’s been many a crooked path that has landed me here Tired, broken and wearing rags Wild eyed with fear -Blackmoores Night |

I linked this forums to L, but not any specific threads. I have talked to both T and L about what is said to me here.

No. I feel that what I write here is private for me and it's not T's business. T's business is what happens in session between us.

No and I don't want to. I like being anonymous and wouldn't want to identify myself to my T with my posts. The idea of my T lurking on PC would make me nervous about posting here too. If I write something here and realize I want to tell my T about it, I'll just say it to her in session (without mentioning the post itself).

I've printed a few things out that I've written and shared them. I think I may have shared part of a thread, too, back with the whole stone thing. Maybe? But I blacked out anyone's user name. I think it was helpful. He knows I'm on here, and I eventually told him my username, but he said he would never go on here on his own and look. Or look at my (or another client's) social media, etc.

During my last session I mentioned that posting on this forum has been helpful to me and that I sometimes use it to help get me to my appointments when I’m feeling the urge to cancel. He asked the name of the forum and I sort of froze and said that I’d rather not say. I feel completely confident that he would never spend his free time on this site looking for my posts. But it has made me a bit more aware of how I’m different and more open when I post here.
