I told my therapist today about doing a humiliating tic Feeling extremely unable to control it and if I am able to in rather rare cases feeling unbearable stress. Plus with people staring at me.

Her suggestion was to ignore the stares. Try not to care. Don't be so sensitive. I thought she means to try to build up my toughness. The tic is cursing under my breath. Thoughts?

My thought is, my mama did that, but she never said it was a tic. She was just mad all the time.

I would be surprised if anybody even noticed. But then, thats how my mama raised me!
