That's interesting. I've never heard that before. Every time I end up at the ER for SH they want to give me a booster whether or not it has been 10 years. They always say it won't hurt to have one. (Not that that shot won't hurt but that it won't hurt me to have a booster even if it isn't time yet. Luckily I'm not bothered by shots.) Probably a way to get more money out of me/insurance company.

This was awkward guys...the former owner and his employee called me from my desk to help them with some accounting stuff. So I went. But my new boss was sitting in a chair in the office and he watched as I was helping them do their work, and since the former owner isn't the one paying me anymore, it felt awkward because I was pulled away from my desk to go do work for someone else not on new owner's payroll. (Not that I was really working hard at my desk anyway. I've done what I can do with my work for the day until someone gives me the green light that it is okay to pay bills.) But new boss doesn't know that and he didn't look happy that I was pulled away from my desk to go help former owner. So I helped them quickly and explained a few things and then asked if they needed anything else and scooted back to my office. Where I promptly informed you guys of the situation!

Couch writers, I have a conundrum. I've written a poem for this call. Publishers are based in the US, and it doesn't specify whether they're open to international submissions. They haven't responded to my email requesting such information. Do I assume that they are, or assume that they aren't?

I would assume they are and submit the poem. Good luck! I hope you get published!

I’d assume they were open, and I’d bet so long as it’s in English it’s fine. Plus it doesn’t look like you have to pay, so all you would lose is some time.

Also, if you don’t mind gluten free I am making pancakes for dinner and to freeze later.

I just emailed one of my bosses that works in NY to see if it is okay to pay bills. I emailed her before 8 AM this morning with the list of bills I want to pay but I haven't heard anything. So I resent it. I feel dumb. But on the other hand, I need to know if I can pay the bills or not. Usually she will get back to me by 11 AM and it's after 2:30 PM. On the other hand, it's after 2:30 PM, that means less than 2 hours left of work! I have to go to the bank for work after work though but it's also my personal bank and I could use some cash from the ATM so no worries there.

My pancakes were always hit or miss. Usually the first ones were just right, and then subsequent ones, not so much. I use a ceramic non-stick type of pan. I found, by accident, the secret to perfect ones every batch: coconut oil. I had been using safflower or grapeseed. Apparently, the coconut oil has a higher amount of saturated fat, so more no sticking. And the smell is great! I only use virgin organic, though--the kind that is solid white in the container. I keep it in the fridge and just chip out chunks to use.

LOL! Love it! Plus I'm madly in love with Daniel Craig. I can watch him be Bond all day long.

My former boss who works for the former owner is moving to working from home today. So I won't be seeing her at the office anymore. I'll still see her because my family delivers dinner to her most nights but still, it won't be the same.

I think Spectre is my favorite Daniel Craig James Bond. I like the oldies too like Goldfinger and Dr No. I have almost every James Bond movie made. I think I am missing a couple of the Pierce Brosnan ones.

I don't know. I had to google who he is. Do you like his music? Then I'd say it's good if you do.

Gotta be better than listening to the hold music I'm listening to on the receptionist's phone. I can hear it all the way in my office.

I Like Nick Cave and he recently performed at Glastonbury with Kylie Minogue which has spun me off into another NC phase. That being said it tends to go along with my depressed phases.

Hmmm. I'd say be a little careful then. I used to have music I would listen to when I was depressed (which okay, was always) like back when I was in high school. But now if I have anything to do with it, I listen to religious music or classical, or CHRISTMAS!!!! So I don't know most of the musicians out there. I don't know Kylie Minogue either. I'll have to google her. I don't watch reality TV either so my cultural awareness of what is going on in the world is a huge blind spot for me.
