I’m extremely anxious, panicking, feeling like I can’t breathe. My therapist is on vacation. She left the number of someone other therapist and I called him twice today and I am still having difficulty coping. He did breathing excercises with me, told me to take a walk and a shower and those things help in the moment but the feelings come

I'm so sorry tangerine! Your T will be back soon. You can do this! Try to do some creative project meanwhile to distract you?

I'm sorry this is so difficult for you--I also tend to struggle a lot when my T is on vacation. Are you able to meet with the backup T in person possibly? That helped me a little when my T was away the last two times. I also tried to have other plans and keep myself busy, like I went to this Paint Nite thing, saw friends, tried to get more exercise, etc. Journaling your thoughts is something to consider as well.
