At the last couple of sessions, my T has been quieter than usual, which originally I perceived it as boredom, but I immediately changed that thought but at the time, the quietness had me thinking harder about what to say.

Things are great with T.

For the last 2 weeks, I had two sessions a week. I think it just happened that way and wasn’t planned in advance. The office called and asked if I wanted to come in Tuesday and I went in and still went in on my regular Wednesday appointment.

I’m not sure if it has to do with the fact that T will be gone for half of November and he’s making sure I’m okay before leaving because he previously seemed concerned about how I will manage November especially because this is one of the most difficult months of the year for me.

I'm glad you have gotten two sessions a week with your T for the past two weeks and that things are going well. Sometimes my T is quieter in session than other times. I sometimes think she is tired but as I don't directly ask her, I don't know if that is true or me just perceiving it that way. But if it leads to good discussion from you, then that is great! Keep on keeping on! HUGS Kit

It was a rough patch for a while but I think that being unable to afford one of my meds that month made it worse.

T was awesome about my honesty with him and during this last rough patch. It also helped that he helped me deal with the impulse to cancel appointments because of being upset by something. We talked about that today.

Is there a way to be more comfortable with silence? It seems like it could be helpful occasionally.

Don’t want to derail the meat of this conversation but I wanted to know if you have tried GoodRx? My insurance denied my most recent med so I used them. Full price was $630 but I got it for $33. A little more than my insurance but not too bad. It really is as simple as the commercial says.

Ok sorry for the distraction.

I always use GoodRX for my meds but in recent months, this one particular medicine’s price drastically increased making it unaffordable.

Hi Hope,
I may have missed this but do you have any drug insurance coverage?
I manage medications for a disabled family member on Medicaid. Some medications are not covered, not on formulary.
Sometimes there is a program directly through the manufacturer to help people with limited income like my relative. Maybe try to look up the drug and manufacturer online to check.

Hope, I wish you the best. I think you've made some really good progress. It's just hard sometimes to keep going, I know. Sending hugs.

Thanks for noticing the progress. That was good to hear.

It was so discouraging to fall back into that low place after feeling like I was doing better.

I completely had a spiral.

I felt like my T was wonderful for how he handled it though. My T temporarily was okay with me doing 2 sessions for the past 2 weeks. He usually doesn’t offer that so I was surprised when he was okay with me doing that. I wish I had the right words to tell him to thank him. I am so grateful for his care and patience during the bad times.

I don’t have insurance at all so no kind of insurance coverage at all. Previously, I use the prescription discounts. I found a place where it was affordable but last month was rough due to circumstances outside of my control.

It definitely does.

The only other option was to ask him about the XR version which I’ve never tried but the XR version is still available through the manufacturer assistance program because the XR version still has a generic. However, my Pdoc hasn’t been open to a med change right now for some reason.

Do you have any chance of qualifying for Medicaid coverage? It's not great but certainly better than nothing.
You dont have to answer if you find my question too intrusive.

I have been denied 3 times.

I’ve looked into that and it’s basically pointless because the only doctors that I see don’t take it and 80% of my meds wouldn’t be covered so it really wouldn’t make any meaningful difference.
