So I saw my Pdoc today. I have so many challenging things going on in my life (job nightmares, very unexpected death of a friend, physical illness, other job stuff that isn't horrible, but does add to the mix, etc.) and have been very depressed. He said it's completely understandable that I would be this depressed, based on what's been going on. He's keeping my meds dosage the same, and wants to see me again in 2 weeks, instead of the 3-month schedule we had before. He also wants me to ask my T if she can see me weekly, instead of every two weeks, which we've been doing for years. When I first started therapy, I went every week, but that was ages ago. My T no longer works five days a week, and I'm a bit worried that she will be unable to see me weekly. But, I see T tomorrow and will ask her then.

HUGS Cool, I'm sorry you have so many things going on. It might be good if your T could see you more frequently so you could get more support, but I know that can't always happen. I'm sorry you have been feeling so depressed. Lots of gentle hugs to you my friend. HUGS Kit

So sorry, that's a lot to be upset about. If your current T is not able to see you more frequently, but you generally find her and her style helpful, maybe ask for a referral to someone who works a more accessible schedule.
