I am trying to hire someone to help me train my younger dog to become less reactive to moving objects (herding breed) -and I have to laugh when I tell the prospective trainers that I will not use a shock collar on my dog and those who want to use it, call it a "remote" collar. Remote sounds innocent and shock collar (what it does to the dog) sounds mean. I don't even interview those guys in person.

Argh, my T didn't call me when she said she would. She was dealing with a difficult, delicate situation at work with another client who was also feeling sui. She texted me last night and this morning. And she said she would call today. I don't know. I feel all sorts of things about this. I wrote a post on it. I feel like I wasn't as important as her other client. I feel like that's ridiculous because I know reasonably, rationally, she had a good reason not to call, but I still wanted to hear from her dang it. I don't know if I am being unreasonable, or not. I don't know if what I am feeling is rational or not. Feelings aren't always rational. I don't even know if I want to talk to T at this point, but I also don't want a welfare check sent out on me. Sigh.

I'm feeling angry and overwhelmed today already. I am about to go pick up a gift basket of stuff I won from a contest that my pdocs office had about a month ago through social media. I'm not even thrilled about it. I haven't been to the office since the beginning of March and not like I even know my pdoc or have seen them since then. Which I know going there to get this basket isn't the same as going to an appointment but it feels weird.

Im more used to just arguing a losing side forever. If the other person gives in, that means two things - ive hurt them, and they are going to hurt me back.

Yeah with no working fridge here, i ask myself, "would a frat boy eat this food left out 'the morning after'?" If its good enough for whatsisname Supreme Court Judge "i like beer", its good enough for me.

H is over at the house today. I ran and picked up the gift basket from my pdocs office. Came back to my father saying he loves me and that H had cut a slice in our pool to drain it. It already had a leak we couldn't fix so my father bought my kids a new pool. When H cut a hole in it, it supposedly flooded our neighbor's basement. I guess she was screaming at my father, who is cycling right now with his bipolar. I came back and heard all about it from my father. I am so overwhelmed.

Possible trigger:

I've been having a lot of SUI thoughts this weekend and now they've intensified with all this going on.

You have no fridge? Do you have community credit schemes over there.? We have one run by the Salvos i used when my car broke down they are no interest loans and paid off over 1-2 years?

An hour left of work. No call from T yet. See this is why I would have just wanted her to wait until Saturday now. I'm waiting and waiting for something to happen that isn't happening! I tried calling her on my lunch break but she didn't answer. She's probably in session. So now we are playing phone tag.

Developmental Psych class started today. I did the syllabus quiz they always do those, like the first 10 points are free if you bother to read the intro to the class stuff. Maybe some people don't read that stuff, I dunno I'm paranoid and read everything haha We have "chats" that seem to be mini-discussion posts/responses, discussion posts/responses, chapters to read of course, quizzes, and written assignments. Our book is online which I don't particularly care for, after staring at my computer screens all day at work I'd much rather read a physical textbook but oh well. It saves me money this way at least!

Hugs...You could maybe say how it makes you feel like just one of a bunch of clients. That you're sort of a number rather than a person. Maybe "number" isn't the right word. But that she's thinking of you as part of a group rather than as an individual. And I imagine it's also that "clients" emphasizes the professional/business side of it rather than personal (I know i struggle with that when my T will use terms like that or talk about, say, how he needed to "take a break from my practice" for a day recently).
