I have been having session via Skype and FaceTime with my T.
And sometimes just over the phone. It always cut off and start having problems. We spend at least 10 mins sorting it out each time, its soooooo annoying! |

I totally get this. It happens to me all the time. It’s distracting and makes it very hard to concentrate on anything of importance. I find myself just talking about random/ stupid things with my T. It makes me wonder if it’s even worth continuing until we can see each other in person. Hang in there - you’re not alone.

Yes, I tend to have difficulties with Skype unless I'm in my dining room, which isn't the most private place to be. But I've given up on trying other spots that are more private.

This morning, I couldnt get the audio on during a doxy visit. Visual fine, no sound. Had to bail and go to phone call. Very frustrating. And it wastes alit if time. |

Something I discovered today - if you disable other devices that are connected to the Internet during your session, it can make for a more stable experience. (I put my mobile phone on aeroplane mode, and muted my Amazon Echo to achieve this.) Perhaps you could take some time to think about that before your next session? (I'm using Zoom at the moment...the first Skype call was decidedly sub-par, but teletherapy is better than being in my head on my own.)
