I really miss my T right now more than I usually do.

Is anyone else going through that also?

I think it’s because I’ve been thinking about how much he has helped me and I really want to tell him how much I appreciate everything.

I’m sorry you are missing your T so much tonight.
I usually miss mine a lot. Today I am missing him a little more because tomorrow (my usual appointment day) is a holiday and I have to wait longer and go a different time. It seems petty with so much other stuff going on but sometimes it’s the little things.

I completely relate. It’s more difficult for me too if my appointment is moved to a different day. The little things matter.

Yeah, I've been missing mine too. We still have phone sessions but it's not the same. We can't relate, laugh, and joke over the phone like we can in real life. Since the phone appointments have started, the sessions have gotten way blander. More often than not, ending early. I want to see him in real life again. In the meantime, I'm thinking of getting him a small but special welcome back gift for when his clinic finally reopens. I figure it's a positive way to express my feelings.

I hope you get to see your T in person soon. Has he mentioned when his clinic will reopen?

I was looking forward to talking about having an excellent week. But today, I keep crying when I read these sad news stories in the news.

I'm sorry, hopealwayz, that you're feeling this way. I know this thread is from a few weeks ago, but, did you get to talk to your T ever? Do you share any of the feeling that you feel sad with your T? I hope your therapist was able to offer you support and some help.

The first week I wasn’t able to go because the roads were flooded so we ended up doing telehealth which I didn’t like at all. And then the week after that I was nauseated so I wasn’t able to go, however I did go this past Wednesday.

Right now I’m disappointed with my therapist because he has been yawning almost every session and also I felt like he invalidated my last description of my manic episode and it made me sad.

I'm not a huge fan of telehealth. Can you tell him you feel that he invalidated the description of your manic episode though? Maybe that would help resolve your feelings about it.

I am definitely going to discuss this with him next week. It’s urgent.

I’m really missing him again most likely due to the fact that I didn’t see him in person for 2 weeks until this past week. I have so much I want to open up and tell him.
