Hi everyone.

I haven’t read a thing so I don’t know who, what, where, when and how but just wanted to come and say hi.
I’ve just been taking time to myself and living one day at a time. Not thinking ahead, not thinking back, but just being.

I’ll eventually see you all again. Take care. Stay safe.

I would have loved to have the therapist locked in a box away from me.

My therapist rescheduled our appointment for tomorrow. I'm so glad that she's ok and also glad that she was able to reschedule so I could still have an appointment this week.

I would poke a couple of holes in the box so they could breathe. And put down some cedar shavings and throw in some lettuce and carrots once a day.

So half the faculty of my college (arts and sciences) within my university have requested medical waivers not to teach face to face this fall. (ETA: Assume that doesn't include disability accommodations like mine.)

Half.

I hate the news they are whipping up a frenzy over the increase in covid in one of our states but thats only because they have increased the testing.

I hate the news too. I try to avoid watching it at all anymore. It's just insane. All of it. Cases in my state (Arizona) are going up like crazy right now, like at the rate of 4,000 a DAY they are saying lately. I can't fathom it. I just can't. True there are over 7 million people in this state but still.... 4,000 new cases a DAY?!?! And masks are required now in several counties? I just don't get it. At all.

I think the people who truly thought it was a hoax were caught completely unawares. There are some news stories about that, if you want to believe them.

Eta - and when people heard the president say it was a democratic hoax, they just heard (medical) hoax, not (economic) ploy, which would have been more accurate as to his intent.

I just returned home yesterday morning from another trip to see my brother in law with H and the kids. I think the 2nd time was worse than the first.
I'm leaving again in the morning but this time by myself without H and the kids. For 6 days...yay! My mom and stepdad are driving basically across country to the east coast for my grandmother's 90th birthday and invited me to join them halfway. They are stopping in the midwest to visit one of my brother's and my favorite person (my cousin) lives nearby. So I'm going to visit her and then fly back on Wednesday.

Our CPS caseworker came by today and I told him about what has been happening still with H, SH and the hospitalization. He said he's going to do some research and get back to my next week when he comes out for another home visit.

Another outing for Soluble Lost in today's session. I am still putting myself back together.
