I'm going to do the sketchbook project for the Brooklyn Art Library. I bought the sketchbook and am waiting for it to arrive. I'm thinking of making my theme mental health. You know like a page for hallucinations, and a page for SH, a page for depression, a page for anxiety, a page for panic attacks, a page for schizoaffective-disorder etc. What do you all think?

That sounds amazing, Kit! Did you opt for them to digitise it as well?
(I'm glad the project is still going ahead with Everything going on.)

Yes, I opted for digitalization. They are actually having a sale right now where you get a percentage off. Pretty cool. I've been wanting to do it so I guess now is the time. Can't wait to get the sketchbook so I can get started!

I am booked to go away alone this weekend. It's a self contained place not far from where I live. I need time alone. I am overwhelmed and need to think. Quiet, space, just somewhere to be for me. My partner and others aren't happy so I want to say it here. Night walks, city views, rainy evenings, books, wine, late breakfasts, quiet bed, autumn air, scarf, food for me, £uck you for everyone else.

Had an amazing morning hiking but now it’s raining and I’m holed up inside my tent. I’m cold (this sleeping bag is going straight back to REI—20 degrees my butt!) and a bit lonely and I feel like I want to just go home. I won’t—I’ll stick it out until Thursday—but I’m missing my warm bed and even my extra-talkative roommate right now.

It’s supposed to stop raining tomorrow morning; if it keeps going all day tomorrow honestly I might just drive back home. Camping and hiking in the rain is no fun in the fall when it’s like 40-50 degrees out. (Yes, I did know this when I planned this trip, but I underestimated how cold I was going to be the whole damn time.)

This is one of the crappy things about being single, not having an automatic buddy to go on adventures with.

Maybe, although you could also be partnered with somebody like me who insists on flush toilets and showers while camping. It really cramps my wife's style. Last time we went, I was pregnant (so it's been a while!) and I made her get up and go with me when I had to pee in the middle of her night. She didn't really mind, but I'm definitely much more camping high maintenance than she is!

I think i overheated in my stretchy jeans. Almost 4 hours, and i was dizzy and staggering. I just woke from a nap, and i finally feel better but still a little queasy.

Its weird how just sitting at the dentist can knock you on your butt! He started a root canal on the 3rd tooth from the center. He was poking

and i was like, What - are you checking me for covid? We all laughed!

So since we’re on therapy and puzzles and mettyphors, I bet the puzzle at the end of therapy is always missing pieces and doesn’t match the picture on the box.

(The second actually happened to my family once. Brand new sealed puzzle too.)

We NEVER did a puzzle "as a family".

"Thats for Americans!"

Eta - i dont want to leave this just sitting out here, it could hurt feelings of my friend @@. So why didnt my parents EVER stop and think their CONSTANTLY rejecting my suggestions could hurt mine? At least they were consistent.

That does describe therapy.

We did not play board games or puzzles. My mother played cards but with other adults. My grandmother taught us to play gin and bridge then we could play some with my mother but she was very competitive and being her partner was a bit over intense.
