EMMALEE,
I understand how difficult it can be to hear negative things about our parents even if it is true and we have had a difficult relationship with the parent. Please talk to your T about it. They may want to discuss why it bothers you so much but it is important to tell them.

Wow, im sorry you deleted your post. I read it earlier but i had a dentist appointment and didnt have time to respond. I felt like it was your first reeeeeeally honest post? Like we finally know who you really are - not identity-wise, just - wow, like the circumstances were different, but psychologically things were exactly the same between me and my mom. It was her or me - only one of us was gonna make it out of here alive, kinda thing.
You know those stories about the bird carrying the other bird across the pond, or the ftog and the snake, or idk wtf. One of the stories is, it was the snakes nature to eat his savior, no matter how hard he pleaded. Another was, the child bird had to bring her own babies across the pond, not the granny bird. Its your time to live. ![]() |

I think sometimes we don't yet have the courage to truly acknowledge some things to ourselves. I am like this. I post, then delete.
It's like "Nope - I'm not ready for this! I don't know if that is what happened here for you. But maybe it was too scary to do this right now. It's all part of the process right? Take care of you. |
