I am finding my mood is going down again and tomorrow will be two weeks since I saw my therapist. I see her next Thursday. It just seems like i got through Christmas good and this week I can't wait til my next session. Is this normal? My last therapist it was a joy to have a break from therapy.

I don't know if it is normal, but I wouldn't think it is uncommon. With Former T I used to very much look forward to my next session with her, whether it had been one week or three. With current T, I can take it or leave it. I think it's good that you want to see your T though because from other posts it sounds like you've been making good progress and that you two are a good fit! I think it is natural to want to see someone who is helping you.

I miss mine loads when we have a break. I have a week until I see him again too, I think it's a good thing we miss them and it means they are helping us. Totally sucks though, especially when you feel down or have something specific to talk about.

I do have allot to talk about with her. I do journal and find that is a big help for me. I will get through this. I also do not like to feel my emotions and that is starting to happen. I have kept everything inside for many years.

I don't like to feel my emotions either. Even if they are positive emotions. I'd rather be emotionless.

I totally agreee and I am starting to trust her and feel more safe to heal at a deeper level. I have the skills i need to keep me from going way down to feeling im in crisis. I also know that I have other supports in my life too that really helps me to know im safe too.

I haven’t seen mine in almost 4 weeks and it will be at least another week before I see her. I’m looking forward to starting up again but I hope she’s in a good mood. She may not exactly be happy with me when I see her again because of what happened. She doesn’t hide her frustration very well.

What ever has happen im sure your therapist will try to understand and be helpful to you. I know how some therapist are not so good at hiding there fustrations it's hard though on us clients because we don't like to see that side of our therapists. I hope everything will go smoothly when you see her. 5 weeks is a very long time.

I used to feel okay with not feeling my emotions. I just feel so uncomfortable with feeling nothing all the time and it really increases the dissociation. I hope to find a balance in my life.

Sorry for all my spelling errors the other day. I forgot to proof read like I usally do.
