most of my original tools somehow managed to move out at the same time our son did haha! h and i finally got tired of the ones that didn't move out (basically the screwdrivers that didn't work so well) and got rid of them, and bought a new toolbox and a new set of screwdrivers, and some random other tools. we are trying anyway to keep them in the toolbox but everyone knows how that goes. |

Geez, every day i look at the chart that has 300,000 on the right hand side, and zero on the left, and the line just keeps going up and up, and im like, how soon before 400k, 500k? I dont know what its even counting, it looks to be a rate of some sort cuz it goes up and down as it climbs.
As a math person, it blows my mind. Im like, im running out of paper here, dont tell me i made the scale wrong! math test anxiety! |

Ugh. My pharmacy. They don't have my Vyvanse even though I fill it every month. They "said" they ordered it but didn't get it. I'm skeptical that they ordered it because I've had this problem before where it is time to fill it and they are like, oh we have to order it! It's a stimulant so they don't let you fill it until right before you run out. I have two days left. So they said they were going to contact my Pdoc and have him send the prescription to another pharmacy. One flaw I see in that is how is he supposed to know what pharmacy has the medication to fill it? And second flaw I see is how am I supposed to know what pharmacy to go to to pick up the prescription? So I called my Pdoc's office and left a voicemail for my Pdoc explaining the situation and hopefully he will be able to resolve the problem for me. I feel sick when I don't take this medication and plus I don't function well off of it. And when I stop and start abruptly it causes a lot of anxiety. Like panic attacks, racing heart beat, etc. And when I stop and start abruptly it causes insomnia. The pharmacist is like, "It's not our fault." I didn't say it was but I'm trying to find out how to get my medicine because it's not my fault either. Ugh. Ugh. Ugh. I'm so frustrated right now.

How do I format a trigger warning? Is there a section here which explains how to format text? I searched, but it's not obvious and this should be way more easy to find than it is.

Ugh, I'm sorry, Kit. Maybe pdoc can contact other pharmacies to see who has it in stock? I thought it was a fairly common med (I've heard of it, at least!), so some should have it. Hope you're able to get it before you run out.

I think it is pretty common but I think it is an expensive medication and it's also some sort of controlled medication. I have to show my license to get it and once they accidentally gave me 60 pills instead of 30 and they had me come back in and give them back 30 and I'm pretty sure you aren't supposed to do that kind of stuff with medicines. But I think someone was going to get into trouble because they didn't have in stock what they were supposed to have in stock. I hope I don't run out too!

I had to go off looking at the news too. I can't really handle it anymore between covid and the US politics right now. Our parent company at work offered us the opportunity to sign up for vaccine trials. I sort of wish I would have now, hearing that it will likely be summer before it's my turn. Feels like a lifetime away. |

One of the things about the us that I find completely reprehensible is the waste of the pharmacy game. I had thousands of dollars of unopened cancer meds that I could not donate to sick people in need- they were completely fine and usable meds that were destroyed because of big pharma and western medical greed. Just thinking about it again makes me livid

Here you can take your unused meds and they either get donated to nursing homes or sent in overseas aid packages
