Yeah, I imagine it's way too complicated to figure out whether a doctor or T is seeing patients/clients in person right now. Also, Dr. T said he may resume seeing some clients in person about a month after he gets the second dose. He's said before that there were certain clients he couldn't really work with virtually. Maybe it's a similar case with Info? Like with the EMDR, that's difficult (if not impossible? not sure) to do virtually. Dr. T doesn't do that, but he works with some teens, so maybe they don't have any privacy at home, for example. |

I regard it as one of the great tragedies of life that Erma Bombeck died before Twitter became a thing. She would have been awesome at it.
I think they were my grandparents’ books. But yes, I read several. |

I decided to postpone my internal retake exam to march. I do feel a bit deflated, but I knew I wasn't ready for it. I still feel ashamed about it and like I don't measure up to everyone else in my group who have already got it out of the way.
Going to focus on gynecology on the 8th of feb. Think I'm also going to cancel the extra session with R. __________________ "Love, like life, flows Through the heart. Feel the thrill of the flow And say nothing." Last edited by Lemoncake; Jan 20, 2021 at 06:41 AM.. |

The place my son works is considered an essential business so he's eligible to get his during the 1B phase. I'm assuming because they manufacture so many different kinds of parts for all kinds of businesses (hospitals included). I haven't heard if he's gotten his yet, I think i'll text him later today and ask. He thinks he already had covid anyway a year ago, he and his gf both, before it was even that rampant in the states. egads - it's already been a year?! H I think is in group 1C. It will probably be summer or later before i can get mine.

I am completely happy to let others get the vaccine first and watch for longer term reactions. I have no idea where I fall. I have friends who are in the process of getting it.

I've read that they recommend people get the vaccine even if they've already had COVID because they don't know how long immunity will last from having had it. I thought H and I may have had it back in February (he had traveled to New York City by train, attended an NHL game, and had a weird, flu-like illness shortly after, and I had a more minor version). I tested negative for antibodies a couple months ago, but he hasn't gotten tested yet. We'll be in the last group to get the vaccine. Our parents may be eligible within the next month though (all 70 or older). |

My "how to sew yourself up in an emergency if you are injured" kit came today. It is being added to the textbooks I have.
I am starting my diy preps to never even need to consider an md.- it will either work or it won't - and if it doesn't, one would not really be any different off ultimately. I have no trouble if someone else wants to submit to those people. I would support their decision = I am just not going to do so. __________________ Please NO @ Selfishness is not living as one wishes to live, it is asking others to live as one wishes to live. Today is the day that I call the pharmacy and see if they have my ADHD medicine. I'm scared to call and get stuck talking to that horrible pharmacist lady. If they don't have my ADHD medicine then I can call Costco and see if they can fill the script. Then I have to call my Pdoc if Costco says yes and have him transfer the script over to Costco (in which case, I would have him transfer all three months because I don't plan to keep going through this nonsense with CVS). But if CVS doesn't have it and Costco can't fill it then I guess I am just out of luck. I might go to a Mom and Pop pharmacy and talk to them this weekend to see if they can get it ordered in (I wouldn't be any worse off) and if they would be willing to do that for me....then I would end up transferring my medications to them.
But here is my dilemma. Now that I have gone off of the medication and gone through the withdrawal and feel relatively well without it I think maybe this medication I do not need. Yeah, I'm a little tired. Yeah my focus is not that great. But maybe I don't need this medication. Plus a couple of people have pointed out that taking a stimulant while having psychosis is not always the best course of action. I would assume my Pdoc knows this and I admire him wanting to treat the ADHD along with the GAD and the schizoaffective disorder depressed type. So maybe I should talk to Pdoc about just not continuing the med. (Or am I really that nervous to talk to the pharmacist again?!) I do feel better on it but I could live without it I think. I won't find out until after noon about the medication because I want them to have enough time to get their order in. I'm really miffed at CVS for being the world's most unhelpful pharmacy during this time. And I'm definitely miffed at the pharmacist for treating me like a complete idiot. I may not be the brightest person but I'm definitely not an idiot. Humph. __________________ Dum Spiro Spero IC XC NIKA |

My aunt also kept a lot of first aid books and stuff. It's good to have it around and not need it then to need it and not have it.

My Dad used to be a volunteer fireman (for 25 years obtaining the rank of Chief). Anyway we always had all kinds of first aid stuff around. He would practice ace-bandaging arms, legs, ankles, wrists etc. It came in handy. One time at a high school football game a kid on the opposing team broke his arm. My dad wrapped the kids arm and he went to three hospitals before anyone would unwrap it because they said they couldn't get it re-wrapped that well. The next year when that team played our high school, the mom of the boy with the broken arm brought a cake for the firemen and expressed her thanks for all their help the year before. It was pretty cool!
