Are we sure he’s not the one with BPD?

I dumped psychiatrist Smaug over an ultimatum. It hurt and I was angry for a long time, but it was the right thing to do, especially after an abusive relationship.

I dunno, I usually think the simplest solution tends to be the right one. After all, how many times has this guy shown himself to be a controlling asshole? For him it's SOP.

Just took myself on a 1.25 mile walk. Go me. I miss walking, not sure exactly when or why I stopped. I am hereby committing myself to walking no less than a mile every day for the next 9 days. Baby steps, right? Here's a pic I took of the sunset from the top of the hill near my house:

eta maybe walking every day will clear my head out some!!

I remember you guys were telling me since august that R wasn't the right T for me,but I only really stopped therapy three weeks ago and before that we did have around a 6 week gap in before and after Christmas.

In the words of Addison Grey "I had to come back to see that it was right to leave".

I know I could have left ages before but sometimes it's the smaller steps too

That is a lovely view. I think you stopped when you hurt yourself.

Did you also buy better shoes?

The dogs pretty much ensure a daily long walk for me. We had two days last week where I could not walk them due to ice (I kept explaining that their lives would be harder if I broke a hip - they were unmoved) and you would have thought I had them sealed in a box rather than a house with a large back yard with all the whining when it got to walk time and none was forthcoming.

Clearly humans should be more like dogs about walking.

Last night i read on the Nextdoor website that a lady fell in her driveway, breaking her hip, and neighbor dogs kept her company and raised a ruckus until someone came.

I take it you saw the nytimes Barry Britt cartoon, ted cruzs dog dishes? I almost had to search out a fire hydrant myself.

I saw a similar story on insta. A lady had fallen, but couldn't move in her hallway. A dog she used to be scared of wouldn't move from outside her front door and told his owner that something was wrong.

I was thinking something similar on my walk yesterday evening. And even briefly considered adopting a dog, we had a dog when I was growing up and I loved her, loved taking her for walks, etc and kinda miss that companionship, but quickly discarded the idea at least for right now because I don't think the 2 geriatric cats would adjust very well. Penny probably would because she's a young whippersnapper but the other 2 are pretty set in their ways.

Feeling a little better today. Not as paranoid. It's going to be a long day at work though. I miss my old coworker who got fired.
