So I have known for a while now that my T is going on leave for three months in a few weeks, we still have about 6 sessions before that happens, but it's very soon.
I have made a lot of effort to talk for the past year, but I am now kind of reverting back to not really talking, or talking, but like not really bringing up what I want to bring up. It's been quite uneasy, and I really did feel it today when we had our session. I know I wanted to bring up certain things, and then I just didn't. I'm starting to be a lot more guarded again. It took me a long time to open up so I feel like after this break, it's probably going to take a while again. |

Have you both not talked about a plan and also a back up plan for any serious issues or crises. I believe that should always be cemented before your your therapist leaves
The plants should be watered and cared for before, during and eventually when s/he comes back I think there should be/ hopefully an emergency pdoc or therapist that you can call and feel comfortable with. It seems like a long time and s/he and yourself should have another psch/pdoc in there to help you. Your therapist should be awre and talk to you about this As 3 months is a substantial time. __________________ ~"There is a crack in everything. That's how the light gets in."- Leonard Cohen |
