I'm a rightie but I can do a lot of things left handed, including write. Came in handy when I broke my right arm playing basketball! I think I whisk right handed.

Josephine Tey is awesome, for my money. Only six of them, though (I think).
Although the real intellectual heavyweight among British mystery novelists is Dorothy L. Sayers. |

I;ve heard of this company: BuddyBox: A Self-Caring Hug In A Box | The Blurt Foundation But i'd rather just pick items myself. As a kid I would get two books delivered a month. __________________ |

I've never read either of those--read lots of Agatha Christie when I was in that mystery novel mode. I'll have to check her out. Apparently, this is the third class in a series, so maybe they read Sayers in a previous class? |

It's great when you make something that you feel like is some big confession to your T (of a past transgression), and he's basically like, "That's it?" Like he was disappointed that it wasn't something juicier. But ex-T's reaction to it was very different.... Dr. T said he was puzzled by her reaction.

The Blurt Foundation are great, and they offer a build your own Buddybox as well.
I've bought them and benefited greatly. __________________ 'Somewhere up above the great divide Where the sky is wide, and the clouds are few A man can see his way clear to the light 'You have all the grace you need for today, and today is all that matters.' - Steve Austin |

I am a fan of Sayers. I am okay with Tey and Margery Allingham. I am a fan of Sarah Caudwell and Ngaio Marsh (New Zealand) as well.

I finished The Irishman, actually "I Heard You Paint Houses" which inspired it. Wow.
Also last night watched the Italian murder mystery on PBS. Its odd how much i enjoy hearing italian spoken. I dont think i ever took a class in italian, i only ever heard it at home. But goodness, its like hearing very familiar voices. I didnt speak italian at home, but all my relatives did. I want to immerse myself in it now. I think im getting senile! |

I listen to Brene Brown for her accent. It puts me right to sleep as she sounds like all of my female relatives. I think her content is pure drivel, but her voice is very calming to me.

I'm glad you clarified, SD. When you said you like to listen to Brene Brown I thought you had been body snatched.
