Hey chihiro, I hope you hear from him soon. I know that my T would want that kind of request in a text but everyone is different.
I know I’m a bit late to the trash conversation, but the compactor for our complex is about a 7-10 minute walk from our unit. Literally on the other side of the unit. Normally when we need to take trash out I drive them over when I’m leaving to run errands or something. Today was nice, though, and I’m apparently super Vitamin D deficient so I decided to walk. I did feel a bit self conscious, but the people I saw along the way didn’t acknowledge me or anything. I’m kind of* nervous about tomorrow. Quick backstory, a few weeks ago I made this breakthrough in therapy that led to T and I doing some heavy lifting trauma work. Between sessions I got super triggered, couldn’t cope, did some stupid things, and was in the hospital for a week and a half. Anyway, I’m feeling better now and when I talked to T last week, we both kind of agreed that the best way forward is to just power through. So I have a 2 hour session tomorrow evening starting at 7:30pm. We’re doing this so that we can do as much EMDR processing as possible. Will also have another 2 hour session on Thursday. Pocket riders would be greatly appreciated. *very |

I'm seeing my therapist in person tomorrow for the first time in 14 months. I think it will be weird.

I hope your daughter's OK--sounds scary! Has she ever had anything like that happen before? When I read your first post about it, I thought maybe she was dehydrated or wasn't used to standing for such a long stretch of time, but I guess not. |

Morning couchies. Hugs to all who want. It's day 3 of my Specialty training at work, yesterday went by really fast. We are learning a ton of stuff, I'm taking lots of notes, and for this particular job function, we are being given some very helpful tools so I am glad about that! 10 more minutes to wake up all the way before I have to log into work.

I'm glad she's fine. When my son first went to high school he joined marching band, and I remember his first day of summer band camp before the school year even started, he fainted because he locked his knees instead of standing relaxed. He wasn't used to standing for long periods either, but he learned how to to that doing that pretty quickly after the fainting episode. |

I am trying macadamia nut milk in coffee today - it is not bad. Better than soy, almond, or oat milk in coffee I think. I bought some so now I will try making my own like I do with the others. When I make almond milk I usually add a date or two. I don't know if that would help or hurt the macadamia stuff. I don't mind the others in other uses, but coffee is tricky I think.

I find almond milk to be dreadful in coffee. I like soy milk, though lately I've been getting the Silk soy coffee creamers. Have you tried cashew milk in coffee? I liked that better than almond (creamier), but don't want to have it in the house because my daughter's allergic to cashews. I've heard coconut milk (the kind in a carton, not a can) can work well with coffee, too, but I don't like the taste of coconut. |
