The clinic is still closed til next Monday. The reason why I have not been able to talk to my therapist is that she has been sick the whole time. I hope she is okay and will be back next week. For the last 5 weeks it has been very stressful and I think because everything is closed still where I live is making me feel so overwhelmed. I cannot wait til life can get back to normal again. I also have been feeling very angry and fustrated with how things are lately.

Yes, life is pretty crap right now.

I hope your T recovers and that you can get to see her soon.

Are you getting any support (from friends, family, other groups etc) in the meantime?

I've definitely been there with my therapist being out sick. Mine was out once for 3 months with pneumonia. It can be incredibly stressful. I hope your T is back next week. And I hear you on being frustrated with everything closed down. For the first year I actually did fairly well with it, but this spring I feel like I can hardly stand it anymore. I want normal life back - at least to be able to see my mental health providers f2f, finally.

Yes my husband has been very supportive and the day program counselors have been keeping me informed every week and also letting me vent. I also have allot of support online and that has been helpful in knowing that I am not alone in what I'm feeling with the lock down and covid19. I am suppose to see my therapist next week and hope she is well enough to see me.

BethRags big hugs, I hear you and it's been very hard. I don't know how much longer it will be and I try so hard to understand but the emotions of anger and sadness take over. My therapist has been so understanding and helpful in letting me know im not alone. I hope very soon you can go back to f2f it's hard doing everything virtual.

I hope so too, however if I can't I understand and will try to get other support in place like seeing my family doctor til she can see me.

I got a call this morning from the mental health clinic. My therapist will be away for a couple more weeks. She is on sick leave right now. I am glad they phoned me and let me know. All I can do is try my best to keep up on the self care and try not to let myself worry about her. I also am able to go back to day program and cooking class next week. That will help me with a routine during the day.

The government is hoping to lift some restrictions by the end of May and by July most restrictions will be lifted. That is what I'm looking forward to the most.

Ugh, I'm sorry... at least they're keeping you updated.

I’m not surprised you feel overwhelmed with everything still being closed and your T being off sick as well, sorry you’re having to deal with all that but I’m glad they’ve kept you updated and you know when you’re likely to see T again.

I really appreciate them keeping me up to date it really helps me to know that they do care even if it's a phone call to cancel my apps.
