I don’t know how I should feel about this. I should probably forget about canceling therapy at this time. I have such conflicted feelings about it all. I guess therapy could help straighten it all out.

Your father? I'm sorry for your loss. If you have conflicting feelings, could be a good thing to talk about, even if you don't plan on long-term therapy with who you're seeing.

So sorry. Losing a parent is hard no matter what the relationship was like.

My mother passed away in March. I have had conflicting feelings too. Some things I am not ready to face or think about and am just giving it time until I am ready.
I am trying to keep everything else as much the same as possible. I have been finding that any change right now seems to stress me out. However I am also facing losing my cat to cancer which was diagnosed in January. He is only 6 years old. Too young. Right now he seems to be doing ok with his treatment but I have no idea how much more time I have with him. My sister too had to put her cat down 5 days after our mother died. So I would think that keeping everything as much the same as you can with no major changes might be more helpful to you for the time being. |
