Oh, no. Poor cat.

R's cat requested her attention in the final few minutes of my session today, and started purring whilst her human and I were doing breathing exercises.

That was a bonus.

Just now I found out that

Possible trigger:

I'm trying to sit with it, but I'm not doing well, so I'm eating chocolate instead.

Just realised that 'R's cat requested her attention' might sound a bit weird - I meant that she was scratching at the door.

I think "requested her attention" sounds just like a cat. Unless they are "demanding her attention" which also sounds like a cat.

Amelia who is indoor/outdoor will come in from outside and meow. We will talk to her (if it isn't feeding time, if it is feeding time we go and feed her of course) but she just likes to know where we are in the house and then she comes sauntering in to the living room or wherever and gets up on something high. But she definitely requests our attention when she comes in from outside. Thankfully she doesn't do it at night when we are all sleeping. She has a meow like a Siamese although she is part Snowshoe mix. I just lucked out. She's a rescue. From what I understand--and I could have this wrong--a Snowshoe is related to a Siamese. I would love a Siamese cat but unless I can get one at the shelter it isn't happening.

Lost, I knew exactly what your phrase meant. Didn’t sound weird at all.

They can have a lot of goo when they sneeze. The cats sneeze and the dogs burp on me.

1.25 hours left of my week in chat (after my break is over of course). Yay for it being over for another month! I'm heading to the pool again after I get off work. Swimming less vigorously and for only half the time yesterday did not make my knee any worse so yay. Sitting in the spa for 10 minutes after helped, even.

Ah, yes, using proper English in all its nuance is “nasty.” You would be better served saying loathsome, cantankerous, or abominable.

There once was an expert in colluvia,
So filthy she generated alluvia,
It got so deep
From her failure to sweep
That she ended up with a prize juvia.

First post i saw this morning was Scarletts talking about a snowshoe and wondered if you were allowed to keep hares as a pet. I didnt know it was a cat breed. Munchkin cats still disturb me.

ok i lied. i can't help myself.

A cat all the way from Absynnia
became famous for short-term effluvia
the day he was bathed
(yet left otherwise unscathed)
in a vat full of viscous larvacea.
