Next session in 2 weeks.

That's really interesting that she can tell you've been swimming. I need to work on the exercise thing--wonder if T would be able to tell?

I'm glad you had what sounds like a good session.

Thanks LT. It was really good, I felt like we did some good work and I felt very seen and heard. Apparently my eyes sparkle more when I've been indulging my mermaid part.

I always have a jar of kimchi around. Try it in some scrambled eggs - it is good

We’re definitely planning to visit each other once a month or so, but I still don’t have my effing work schedule so we don’t have anything on the books yet

I say this without judgement and as someone who hates work and seizes upon the slightest chance to not work. Anyway, whether you do paid work or not, I think the important thing is that you are deciding and you are making the right decisions for you.

Also, if you don't do paid work, you are still working in other ways. Therapy itself is work and it's tiring, although of course these kinds of abstract work commitments are not paid. They should be. I would be a millionaire.
I appreciate your post.

I think my issue is yes I want to work but I'm afraid of upsetting him. But then, that also does point to the issue of why am I so approval seeking that I'm stewing in anxiety although I absolutely know what's the right decision for me?

In a way it's like I'm reacting as though he's like the perpetrators in my family - like my life choices must be defended, apologised for, that I'll be hit and shamed if I make an unapproved choice.

Thank you. I'll be going through job ads on various sites a few hours each day.

Wow, what are the signs she spotted? Like you sound happier?

I'm curious because my psychiatrist can tell when I'm dissociative even though I've seen her less than 5 times.

Do you make your own? Somehow it seems like a stopdog thing to do.

I made a couple batches a few years ago when we had a Korean student staying with us. It's pretty easy but usually I buy it at the Asian food market because that is even easier.

Eggs are the devil! An i dont mean devilled eggs. As my mother would say, "they dont digest on me - they get stuck RIGHT HERE."

Altho kimchi may well be the anti-devil - my insides feel like theyve been touched by an angel. I cant wait for breakfast

Navajo rabbit...in 11 years of using that most notable social media site, I have not had a single issue. Now I've been locked out of my support groups for who knows how long.

I posted something with a link to a Psychology Today article, that Facebook must have found objectionable in some way. Now I'm locked out of posting to groups I don't manage until December 4th, 219250468 at 3:30 PM.

As if I wasn't having enough fun...

She said my eyes sparkle whenever I've been swimming. The rest, she's pretty into the woo stuff (as am I) and says that she feels my energy. Yesterday she yawned and said she was tired from the heat (it's been super hot here, like record-breaking hot this week) as we were sitting down, but she didn't appear to be tired at all after we had been talking for a few minutes. I guess she absorbed some of my higher energy. I have been happier since we moved, too. I guess she's just been really attuned to me, moreso than usual the past couple of months.

Sometimes I do make my own. But often I just buy it from the asian market that is two blocks away

Hugs, Lost. FB has gotten really kinda weird in the past year. There's some things I can't believe don't get taken down, and I have friends who have also had seemingly unobjectionable things pulled down and gotten put in FB jail for too. I don't get it.

It seems to be a widespread glitch, judging by the FB forum, which took me altogether too long to find. AFAIK they haven't acknowledged it yet.

Today has been Rough.

I remember having kimchi as a kid. Friend of the family was Korean and always made her own. It was so spicy! I’ve been afraid to try it as an adult.

I did a load of laundry this morning and got it all put away, and went grocery shopping this afternoon. H was out on a job early this morning so while he was gone I started watching Lucifer on Netflix. I really like it so far. The guy who plays Lucifer is rather charming I think. I have 4 days off work soon (my birthday weekend, I took my birthday off and then Monday's the actual company holiday) so am planning to watch a bunch of episodes!

I was afraid to try it too! Then i thought worst case scenario i can rinse it off. I swear it patched up my innards though. Like taking one of those tiny blood vessel zappers to it.

I emailed a new therapist I saw on Instagram originally. Her main thing is providing support with pregnancy, but she also offers hypnotherapy as well as general coaching.

I thought maybe a woman would be better for me. Despite being a woman too, I already know that I am deeply prejudiced against them.
