I have my first session back with my T tomorrow, I haven't seen her in four months as she's been on leave.

It's going to be awkward, and I don't really know what to talk about. We had 9 month break previously but I can't remember what it was like when we started again.

it's gonna be such a strange session...

You’re right, it probably will feel awkward. Having that expectation going into it will actually help to reduce that awkwardness. I would just focus on surface things, catching your therapist up on what’s going on. There will be more time to get to meatier subjects.

I agree with this suggestion. Just plan on a general update. Maybe writing down a few things that have gone on that you want to tell her will help, in case your mind goes blank?
