Bad news - ugh, I've got a bad cold on top of strep because of working in a daycare center
Good News - I've been chosen for an in-person interview at another company |

I just emailed a new T.
I've felt off and bad all of this morning. __________________ |

Sorry you're sick, and hope you feel better soon. Good luck with the interview--is it for someplace that isn't a daycare? |

My dad had an orange VW bug when I was little (like early 80s, but I don't know how old the car was). I don't remember about the seatbelts, but I know the engine was in the back. |

Thanks, QM. She has been wearing cloth masks at school and camp (and does fairly well with them). I did at one point buy a box of kid-sized surgical masks (I think they're tie-dyed pattern), so maybe we can try her wearing those instead. Or maybe I need to add the optional filter to the cloth masks. |

I copied and pasted the same email to someone else now. I don't think I can really trust someone new, but I'm starting to feel a bit desperate.

Yes it isn't a daycare (yay!!)- I'm just doing that temporarily to help out my Dad and his wife (They own it). Thanks for the well wishes.

Hugs all around to those who need/want.
I'm not sure what the schools are doing around here. The numbers are still relatively low in my county, thankfully nowhere near what they were in January when we were seeing like 1300 new cases a day. Right now we are hanging right around 100 new cases a day which is still not good, but low compared to January. Stores stopped requiring masks awhile back but now they're starting to suggest them again, because of the variants. They're saying new hospitalizations are pretty much exclusively unvaccinated folks. I don't of course know how reliable that information is. |

Hospitalizations and deaths are almost entirely unvaccinated people. This is the case across the country.
ETA: so now we're in an endemic pandemic. |

Crap. BF’s brother (who lives in a low-income country) has COVID.
He’s not vaccinated because he hasn’t had access to the vaccine. |

I really don't understand the governors who are forbidding school districts to require masks. It's just ridiculous to me... I'm sorry you have to deal with that. Stay safe... |
