Cute dog! Taking a wild guess here based on the dog we briefly adopted, but maybe part German Shepherd? Mixed with something smaller.

Trying to decide if I want to go through the whole process to renew my restraining order this year or just let it lapse. I've got until the beginning of October to get it done. I'm weighing the hassle of the whole thing vs my emotional well-being. I don't think I fear him physically at this point, but it sure wouldn't be good for me to have contact with him. He might want nothing to do with me at this point. I don't know.

I agree, GSD plus something small. That short hair looks like chihuahua.

I once saw a site of i think corgis crossed with other pups. There was unmistakeable corginess about them. It was a great site!

Ordered DoorDash because our program gave us some money so that we could have dinner together via Zoom. Dasher delivered it to the wrong building and took a picture of it on a shelf in said wrong building. By the time I got there (~5min after the picture was sent to me), it wasn't there anymore. DoorDash is refunding me but, like, seriously?!? Unclear if Dasher took it or if the people in the wrong building did but just ffs.

Agreed. It's not fair if he's asking you to cut back on something that affects your health and he can then just go out and buy a shiny new toy. I'm just assuming, with how you've said he is with cars, that he got a top-of-the-line one?


(The only exception would be if his broke, and he needed it for work, but then his work would supply one presumably.)

Not cool about the laptop Scarlet. Did he need it for work or something? If so work should reimburse him. But if he just wanted it.....way uncool.

I'm feeling more.........steady today. A bit more stable. Of course I've had 2 nights without the intense IOP but tonight is back to IOP nights. Tonight, tomorrow, Monday. Then I will have to see if the insurance company will approve more. Tonight my session is with R. Who is my case manager. When he asks about the low of the week, I'd probably be expected to say my relapse. But I'm going to say the hallucinations (because that was the precursor to the relapse). I don't know what I am going to say for the high of the week yet. I did get to text with two of my nephews. The boys are living with their Dad while my sister and Brother-In-Law are split up. I didn't get to talk to the little one but my BIL sent him to school in dirty clothes. And sent him to school with holes in his shoes and his teeth unbrushed. And didn't take him to a birthday party he was invited to over the weekend. (My oldest nephew also drives so if my BIL didn't feel up to it--he has diabetes, M could have drove him). So I feel bad for the little guy. I have no way of contacting him. He is only 8 and doesn't have a phone or anything (not that I am advocating or not advocating little kids having phones. I am NOT a parent and therefore have no say in the matter). I do tell his older brothers to tell him hi for me and to fist bump him or give him a high five (I figure they are too cool to hug) but IDK if they follow through. But at least talking to M and L was nice. Even if L only said one word back. At least I got a response. Usually it is months later before he responds. M is pretty good about same day or next day responses. I'm kind of sad because I don't think I will get to see the boys for Christmas. I don't think their dad will let them come. They haven't gone to court or anything so there's no custody arrangements. It's just boys with Dad, girls with Mom sort of thing. The girls do spend a little time with their dad but they come home hysterical. I'm babbling. Sorry couchies.

I have a migraine so Dad went to a local coffee shop and got me coffee and I asked him to bring coffee for two of my coworkers too and he did. I paid him of course but he was the delivery man! I'm spoiled.

My 4 hours on the phones this morning went by pretty quickly and was mostly uneventful. There was one call that I was on for over an hour trying to help this guy figure out some issues with his insurance (that isn't through us anymore, but he had no clue, so I was making all kinds of phone calls different places trying to figure it out.) I think we finally got him squared away, but not sure since he had one more place to call that he decided to go do himself.

Lunch is over now, so now I work my normal job the rest of the day woohoo! And it's my Friday. So, double woohoo!

Yeah. H wanted a new laptop only because he wants a windows computer. He has macs already. It cost $1k. It's b.s. and not fair.

Hugs, Scarlet. Sure doesn't seem to be fair or make sense to me either, especially if he already has working laptops.

So I haven't been swimming since the day before our vacation last month. I've been to the gym since then, but only to use the physical therapy equipment a few times to keep my shoulder moving. Now that my ear is all fixed I'm ready to try swimming again tomorrow. And I'm also ready to wear my new swimsuit in public as

Might want to wear earplugs if you don’t already and/or get one of those post swim ear drop solutions that helps dry out the inner ear. I get mine at CVS. Just for protection.
