I would talk about it. Obviously it bothers you. And your argument works in reverse: since she isn't going to be your long-term therapist, there is nothing to lose by talking to her about it. She's gone soon.

We did talk about it a little at the end. It didn't make me feel better. She said the text message from my case manager while I was at the hospital was premature, kicking me out of IOP. I'm still really hurt over how everything went down. But I am only going to see her two more times and it just seemed pointless to be that vulnerable with her to tell her that she really hurt me, badly.

Well i paid my rent and picked up my meds and took a shower and when i came home my hair looked really cute! So that cheered me up.

I have GOT to start exercising. I have REALLY turned into a slug since the pandemic. You know how you read in magazines how fat people say "i couldnt even walk down to the mailbox!" Thats about the shape i'm in. I took the bus to the pharmacy but i took an uber home. It was after 6pm and bus
frequency is 60 minutes, not 30 minutes as in the daytime. Really killed my appetite tho i will tell you. I think any weight i lost is just thru muscle atrophy, not fat loss. But hey my hair looks good!

You dont have direct debit over there? My rent, gas electricity are all direct debt a set amount fortnightly so the money i have left over is mine to what want. I am assuming that you physically went out to pay your rent with cash or cheque. I havent seen a cheque for many years i wonder if they still exist.

My rent is the only check i write, aside from an occasional dr bill. They recently started automated extraction. But if they are kicking me out, why should i start now? Plus now i have a drawer full of checks with this address on it.

Yeah, people on my nextdoor are complaining like crazy about their checks they send getting stolen. Either from the post office or on their way there. Our mailboxes arent sacred anymore. The red flag now means Rob Me.

Saw an article about disability and college students and how they are "starting" to do more. We had a blind teacher in high school, and i have a deaf cousin, so yeah i always thought accommodations were in place. What can we do to help?

Hugs, if wanted. Hopefully your new request for accommodations will go through without issue. Are you seeing Visa again soon?

I want a do-over.

I want to be a child again.

I'm dissatisfied in this life.

The last thing I would ever want is to be a child again. I like being an adult. I even like being an older adult even with the current and impending body part failures that loom. And I would rather deal with girding up weak skeletal parts and muscle aches than going through childhood again.

Students actually have it better overall (they get most of the attention on campus and there's another law besides the ADA that applies to them I think). I went to college 25 years ago (so not long after the ADA was passed) and they were still finding their feet over accommodations--and the ADA people at my school are pretty much where my college was 25 years ago.

Help? You guys are doing great already.

ETA: oh, I guess if I start talking about doing something idiotic, like quitting in a fit of rage, tell me it’s a stupid idea.

I have both Visa and Info scheduled for Veterans' Day. Head-to-head competition. Who will survive?

Ain't that the truth! I'm not sure I even would want to go through my early adult years. Life has gotten more sane and steady the older I have gotten, even with the craziness of the last year.

Don't quit in a fiery huff (although I did it once and it worked out well - I still don't recommend it).
Two therapists in one day? That makes me slightly stressed to read it and it isn't even me that is going to have to endure it.
