So on facebook, a guy from my high school posted a photo of him with Ponch. Another guy, who is a photographer ergo i assumed very knowledgeable of current affairs, didnt know who Ponch was or what ,CHiPS was. I am aghast.

I'm a bit late, but I'm so sorry Artie!
As for your H, just respect whatever he wants. If he wants to talk, do that for a bit with him, if he wants space, give him space. Everyone grieves differently. |

Thanks CNS. He broke down again this morning and called out to work. He tried to work yesterday but being alone in his car (he's a courier) was too hard. He said he keeps yelling at himself "he was just a cat!" I told him yes he was a cat, but you loved him, and he loved you, you had a special bond and it's going to hurt for a bit. and reminded him that it's okay to cry. it's the first time he's lost a pet that meant anything to him - when he was growing up they had outdoor cats that never lived past a year or two, and we had Rascal for going on 15 years ever since he was a little kitten. We're going through pictures on my computer to find the best one, enlarge it/print and frame it to hang somewhere in the house. |

That sounds like a good idea, Artie. I'm sorry you're both having to go through this. No such thing as 'just a cat', though.

Does anybody else ever get excited about a soap from a hotel and try to buy it online? haha. When h and I were in Jerome awhile back they had this Beekman 1802 goat's milk soap that we totally loved so we talked them into giving us a couple extra little bars. They last like a month and a half, and we have one left. I found their website and ordered a 9 oz bar for $15 for Christmas. That should last a good while! (It better for $15 haha but we deserve it. It's gonna be a difficult Christmas this year.)
