There are many things that I know it's not worth my getting worked up about because worrying won't make the slightest difference, but I worry about them anyway. Believe me I'd rather not. It's not always a choice.

Got my meds for the month. So i will be returning to my usual sanguine self. Boy, in my town, Lyft comes a lot faster than Uber, at least by my one-time use!

This is how I feel, like worry is not a choice but simply part of who I am, so embedded in my dna that even if I did therapy for 10 more years it would still not rid me of it. |

Same here. I've gotten a bit better with it. But if it was a choice...then why exactly would I choose it? To me, it would be akin to, say, choosing to have type I diabetes or rheumatoid arthritis. Why would I pick that, if I have the option not to? |

This may be one of the great divides in how various people see the world. I think almost everything is a choice -it may not always be that one chooses what happens out of the sky to someone but, to me, it is always a choice in how you respond to that happening. So you may not choose rheumatoid arthritis -but one does choose how one responds to the diagnosis.

I am on a mission to clean out my freezer so I can store more homemade food and meat in it. Dinner tonight was a Lean Cuisine so old that its “best buy” date was pre-pandemic (1/20).

I consider any food not freezer burned or fuzzy/slimy to be fine. 1/20 would be almost brand new in my freezer. What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger.

I made another hat this evening, played around a little anyway with designing. The top part is pretty much just a general double crochet hat pattern, but I started getting creative with the white yarn making the spikey thingies. I had to crop my face out because I think I look dumb in hats, they make my nose look 10 sizes too big! Like, it resembles Klinger on MASH

Peter Jackson's Beatles documentary is absolutely mindblowing. It is like being in the studio whilst the Let It Be sessions were happening. I still have one episode left to watch, but really feel like I need to digest the first two before going any further.
