Hi,im paying therapy for my personality disorder and depression since feb, doctor gave me meds, firstly seroxat 20mg,it was unstable and got quickly overweight, then i complained and gave me effexor venlafaxine 75mg which i still getting.

We started CBT and supportive, didn't helped me so far,i changed doctor.

I hate my job(security guard),i failed to finish my degrees,i feel useless and hopeless, i dont have friends after school years, neither relationships with girls,no sex life, low self esteem and lack of self confidence all the years since 16 yo,loneliness killing me,anxiety, avoidant behavior insecurities, self blaming and self sabotage.

I don't know if any doctor can help me overcome my issues, therapy is expensive.

I'm so very sorry that you are oppressed and weighed down with these crushing burdens. It is really heartbreaking. Wish I knew what to say that would help!

If you have avoidant personality disorder, I can see how some meds and CBT would not help you. The issues usually go far deeper... do you have any option to go to another therapist than CBT only?
