Oh no!! Not Meatloaf now too. I listened to to Bat out of Hell endlessly when it came out in what, 1977? Still love the song For Crying Out Loud.

Honestly, I didn't have very good results when I tried to make fries from scratch. They were soggy. I probably screwed up the prep somehow, but haven't gotten around to trying again some 4 years later. But I do like to use my air fryer for frozen fries from the grocery store. I don't add any additional oil and they come out better than in the oven.

The latest thing I've been trying to do is falafel but my last attempt wasn't so great.

I also like to put veggies in there, usually when I don't feel like dealing with the oven to roast them. Just toss in a bit of olive oil and they're good.

Oh, I didn't realize it could be used for roasting veggies. Hm... Seems like it could be good in the summer when you wouldn't want the oven on for an hour.

I liked the Bat out of Hell album -but frankly I was surprised he lived past 1979. He always looked about to have a heart attack to me.

I think it already ended with the changing of nouns into verbs. I shudder at the use of gift as a verb.

Oh crap. I didn't realize gift wasn't a verb! English is so confusing sometimes.

I am definitely depressed. UGH. I didn't want to go to aftercare last night (okay that is how I feel every week) but then (like every week) I was glad I went. It was on "vulnerability" and it had a Ted Talk by Brene Brown.

But I am definitely depressed. There is no question about it. Like at first I thought my mood just might be low but no, it is full blown depression. Sigh. I don't know what to do about it. I am already on two anti-depressants and three anti-psychotics, and one anti-anxiety medication. I see my pdoc on 3/2/22 but I know that I am on the highest doses of stuff so I don't really want to have to change medications. But it literally hurts to breathe. I'd cry if I could cry, if I did cry, but I am not a crier. I'm at work but there is nothing going on to distract me. I just really don't feel too good.

I talk to Julieanne on Monday. But I need a plan for this weekend. A plan to bring some joy into my life. I could work on my painting. That might help. And the Rams are playing this weekend, so depending how they do against the Bucs might make me happy or might make the depression worse. I feel despairing.

Re the air fryer discussion - you can think of an air fryer as a small convection oven. You can prepare the same things in them, cooking times may vary.

Kit, the painting sounds like a good idea, maybe you can also start a second one if you don't feel the theme of the first if that helps?

In therapy news, I gave my T two different types of ffp2 masks (that's the standard over here, similar to kn95) to try out. He only recently started wearing them over ffp2 and has to have a band tied to them in order for them to fit. I've tried various types over the past two years, so I gave him the two we have for me and my boyfriend, they have different fits and bands that go around your whole head.

I expected my T to say no to me offering the two samples. I'm still surprised he didn't. I can't think of any other type of present that a T would accept willingly even though it's only purpose was benefiting himself. Yet, I'm quite pleased he didn't reject it, if he had said something a year ago, I could already have given him samples -.-

Good idea.

The one I am working on is slow going and I am one that enjoys getting done faster. I think it will turn out nicely it's just slow going. I need more time to devote to it.

I might do some pastels or something else that would allow me to express some emotions without having to wait for the paint to dry!

Hugs, Kit. Have you changed meds at all recently? If so, maybe one of those could be contributing to the depression?

Agreed that painting sounds like a good idea. Also, I hate Tom Brady, so go Rams! My team didn't make the playoffs (they did well, then fell apart, in part due to injuries), so I'm fairly flexible in who I root for, other than the Bucs (plus Cooper Kupp helped me win one of my fantasy football leagues, so I'll root for him).
