Even parents of adults with autism are likely writing online blogs (or whatever...), if you believe your daughter won't likely be able to live independently in the future. But also... don't sell her short!!! (I can't recall who said that already, sorry!) Stubbornness can be an asset.

Thanks, MP. I'll try to seek some of those out--I'm in a few Facebook groups for parents, so I'm guessing I could find some specific suggestions there.

And I think with my D, I'll keep advocating for her. She's grown and accomplished so much in the last 11 years--I have no idea what she'll be like at, say, 21. But I also don't want to push *too* hard, to be following my dreams for her rather than what is the right path for her, as an individual.

Also, good to know you understand about the copy editing!

I somehow got it in 4. I put in the answer saying, "I'm sure it's not that, and I'm wasting a guess."

I have come to find Quordle much easier than Wordle. I wonder if it's because each turn provides more information, exponentially. Does that work out mathematically? Can anyone count and add up?

It really depends on the day for me. And I think I need a better Quordle strategy (Lost shared one with me that I think I need to actually try!) I'll sometimes get 3 or 4 letters of a word and get hung up on trying to figure that out, then have only, say, 4 guesses left for the last 3 words. But yes, you do get more information (that reminds me, I haven't done today's!)

ETA: Got it with 2 unused guesses!

I find Duotrigordle (32 Wordles, 37 guesses) much too easy. It just takes a long time.

I am now popping my Quordle cherry. ETA: popped, with two guesses left.

In my first attempt at Duotrigordle just now, I got 25. But I think I'd do better on my next try, now having a better sense of how it works.

Did you also walk miles to school in blizzards, like stopdog and ex-hankster?

Did they give you meds? When i had my weird stroke, there were no meds left to give me - i was already on all of them - so they had me start taking aspirin.

My t had offered to come pick me up and take me home, but he lives waaaay the other side of town, so i was like, "Naw, a taxi can get here faster!" You think you wait forever for that day, but when it comes, I just wanted to get home and make myself a canned chicken sandwich.
