I am sorry for not being active as much. Last month my old addiction counsellor passed away. Also last week my Step mom lost her mom it's been hard.

My therapist has been back for 3 months. My sessions have been over the phone and so far it has been good. I found out last week that she could no longer have a job at the clinic as of July 8th. She works from home due to a mask exemption and her refusal to go back to work now is creating a challenge with the manager. All staff are back at work now.

I also feel this time I can't do it all over again like it was this winter with following her to private practice. It was only texting and very little support from her, i think we both knew it was temporary. This time if she leaves the clinic she wont be returning this time.

You are having to cope with a lot. I'm so sorry for the losses.

I'm trying to understand...so your therapist is leaving the clinic, but why?

The clinic is still keeping the masking policy in place and my therapist is not willing to wear a mask I think it's a medical issue. She was working from home and now it's causing some undue hardship to allow her to keep working from home.
