In the course of a one-on-one meeting on another subject entirely, my chair volunteered that he thought the whole situation with my colleague was just “a personal conflict.” So nothing to do with disability.

I’m resuscitating this because, even though this was almost a year ago, that mediation was a disaster, it still hurts enormously—especially as the chair/former friend is now permanent chair, and the colleague/former friend who started the whole thing acts like nothing happened, which means she acts like she did before, which means I miss her friendship.
