Grief counseling and update on my t

I am finally going to be getting some grief counseling by a grief specialist. I am doing it over the phone. My therapist thought it would be good for me to talk to someone who is better trained to help me, I have had many loses in my life and have not been able to properly grieve.

I got a call yesterday from the mental health clinic they told me my therapist will be away for a couple weeks. I am starting to think she might not be back. I have a session booked with her in 3 weeks time so im hoping she will be back. I think she would be so happy to hear im still going ahead with some grief counseling.

I know my therapist had a family emergency and my session was a day early last week. I also know she has been pressured to go back to work at the clinic (she was working from home due to a mask exemption) So im worried, but also I do not want to make assumptions. I hope either ways she gets ahold of me soon.

It has been very stressful. I hope I do hear from my therapist soon
