I had my first phone session with the grief counselor this morning. She was very nice and very honest with me in that she could not be helpful in that mv grief and trauma is out of her expertise. So she handed my file over to a psychologist who deals with trauma and grief. I have a video session next Wednesday.

It's very emotional when I talk about my loses and trauma it feels so raw. My therapist will still work with me on trsuma and be a part of the process. I think working with two therapist will be helpful and not overwhelming.

I'm so sorry for the losses and trauma you've experienced.

It sounds like the grief counselor did the right thing in being honest and getting you in to see a psychologist who has training in the areas you need.

Hope it goes well.

Wishing you the best on your journey.
